A perfect example of my work
I was given the brief to design a website for the brand new company: Flowerbox London. This was a website that was slightly more complex than the sites I normally build. I was asked to create a site that made use of white space, had a minimalistic design and looked beautiful. The emphasis and stand out feature had to be the flowers the company are selling.
The site had to offer a subscription service where clients can purchase a weekly, fortnightly, monthly or one off box. There needed to be a back end system to process payments automatically, a database to keep clients details secure and an area where the admin team could manually update subscription information, promo codes and also look at sales analysis.
I had to incorporate a customer log in system where they can manage their subscription, personal details, payment details and view a calendar as to when their payments will come out.
I found a solution to delivery based on address. Flowerbox wanted to serve the whole of the UK but can only deliver to certain areas for free. I designed a system to know which deliveries to charge for and which to allow free delivery.
The key to this project was communication and honesty, Carole told me if she didn't like something and we worked together to nail the brief. Overall Carole was very happy with the result and has recommended me to several other businesses.

"Having tried 2 other web design companies before with absolutely useless and fruitless outcomes, I was introduced to Dan. What a relief! At last someone who listened and really tuned into my ideas for my business and who had a real ‘can do’ attitude. Nothing was too much trouble or effort for Dan and the results have been that I’ve ended up with a totally professional looking website/brand, that is extremely simple to navigate and actually works brilliantly. Thank you so much Dan, completely delighted and couldn’t be more pleased. I would totally recommend Dan for his patience, understanding and skills."
